So, President Obama received the Nobel Prize for Peace which includes a cash prize of approximately $1.4 million. Arguments aside about whether he should have received it or not, the fact remains that the Nobel Committee chose him to receive this honor and the associated purse. True, this is not the kind of money to reshape today's world, but perhaps it could be leveraged to reshape a part of the world.
My question is this: What should President Obama do with the $1.4 million?
Should he spend it to do the most good toward promoting peace? Or should he use it for some other purpose? Share your ideas in the comments below.

I watched Episode 3 of the Ken Burns National Park documentary last night, and Mather used his personal wealth to make America a better place. Of special note was the 2-week Mather Mountain Party, where he invited wealthy and influential visitors to enjoy the Sierra Nevadas. The personal "being there" situation made the invited guests see the opportunity and get them committed to being part of the solution. With 1.4M, Obama could do some personal networking, getting folks together in places of interest. Good meals, shared experiences... Obama Happy Hour? I would like to see the prize money used as a seed that will bear fruit for future generations. (altruistic? yes; hopeful? still yes!)
I think he should spend it on coke and whores, just to really blow everyone's mind regarding how cool he actually is.
I mean, national parks are really good too though.
